I have always seen the beauty subscription service Bellabox all over Instagram and I was really happy to be given the opportunity to receive the August box to review. If you are unfamiliar with Bellabox, it is a monthly subscription service where you receive beauty samples that are delivered to your home.
Review Bellabox Australia
The Bellabox samples are packaged in a cute box with the Bellabox logo and a cute polka dot print design. The products are packaged within tissue paper and are arranged to fit inside the box. Heavier things are placed at the bottom while lighter products are placed at the top.
The subscription service is $17.95 AUD per month which you can cancel at any time. You receive 5+ samples of products depending on the month. What I like about the service is it is individualised, not everyone gets the same box and this is dependant upon your own special needs which you specify at time of joining. I think this box is extremely great value, considering that the value of the products you receive in the box is greater than the what you pay.
I really like the idea of a beauty subscription box that introduces you to brands you may not have purchased before or new products coming on the market. If you are a beauty junkie like me, it is a really great option in trying out products without having to shell out the money for a full sized product that you may not use. It is also great for introducing you to great products that you love but would not usually purchase.
What is in my August Bellabox!
I received this concealer in the shade ‘the neutralizer’. I actually really like this concealer. It completely concealed my dark undereye circles and didn’t crease. It lasted all day which is a huge plus!
This was a full sized tin of the Nivea cream. This is a really nice moisturiser for the body, hands and feet. I love using it on my dry elbows and heels of my feet too!
I have always really liked the Avene brand and was happy to receive these samples to try. The cleanser and the cream are really nice to use and most importantly are great for people with sensitive skin!
This is a brand that I have never tried before and was curious to see what this primer was like. It claims to fill in lines and pores and blue imperfections. It is a really lightweight primer. In comparison to the Benefits Porefessional which has similar claims, I find this primer to be thinner but definitely still minimised pores. I didn’t find it as mattifying though as the Benefits one.
This was a sample of the Slimming and Firming Serum as well as the Bust Lift and Firm Cream. These are supposed to firm and smooth the skin. I did not see any immediate effect however the products do state that it takes a longer term use to experience this.
DISCLAIMER: I was not paid to post a review. All opinions are my own and this is my honest review on this product. I was sent this product to try and have not received any compensation to blog or post about it.
