I am always on the hunt for a foundation that feels lightweight but still has coverage. I purchased the Marc Jacobs Re(Marc)able Full Cover Foundation Concentrate from Sephora Australia during their black card sale! This foundation really is remarkable in terms of being full coverage and being lightweight at the same time. The only way I can describe this foundation is that it is ‘INSTANT PHOTOSHOP’. It is able to provide complete coverage with less product than conventional foundations due to it being twice as pigmented.
Here are the official product details from Sephora and what the product claims to do for your skin:
What it is:
An innovative foundation that delivers instant full coverage in a dot: less foundation for more coverage.
What it does:
Give skin flawless full coverage in an instant with this first-to-market foundation concentrate. This revolutionary formula offers twice as much pigment as a leading full-coverage foundation, but in an oil-free base that blends instantly across the complexion to completely cover pores, blemishes, and other imperfections with the thinnest possible layer that lasts up to 24 hours. All foundations are composed of two parts: pigment and ingredients to carry the pigment to the skin.
Re(marc)able innovates by filling its formula with as much pigment as possible, leaving little room for non-essential ingredients, including water. Not only does it contain twice as much pigment as standard full coverage foundations, but these pigments are made of patented golden mica to give the complexion a more radiant, real-life glow. The pigments are wrapped in lecithin—an ingredient that’s biochemically similar to skin—to blend effortlessly and meld with the complexion for a smooth, soft-matte finish.
Less foundation delivers more coverage. Customize yours with the ingenious dot applicator: one to two dots for sheer to natural coverage and three for natural to full coverage. For best results, buff into skin with The Face III Buffing Foundation Brush. Just shake, dot, and blend for a perfectly flawless complexion.

Here are my impressions of this product:
It comes in a beautiful frosted glass bottle with a black lid. Inside is a silver screw top second lid that comes out with an applicator. The applicator is like an enclosed dropper with the idea being that you dot on the product to your face and then blend out with a brush. I personally have not had any issues with the packaging leaking but I did a few reviews that a number of people did when travelling, so keep this in mind!
The formula of this product is richly pigmented and you therefore, do not need to use as much product. I have noticed that one or two dots goes a long way and completely perfects your skin. What I like about this foundation is that it feels extremely lightweight and doesn’t feel as though your wearing a lot. I can only describe it as ‘instant photoshop’ as it leaves your skin absolutely flawless!
They have 32 shades of this foundation with shades with pink and yellow undertones. They also have shades from light skin tones to deeper skin tones. You will definitely find your match. As I purchased online, I did have to guess the shade, and unfortunately the shade I picked, Cocoa Light, is a little bit too deep for my skin tone, however, once I conceal and highlight, this isn’t noticeable at all.
I purchased mine during a 20% off sale but it retails for $79AUD. It is 22mL which is a bit less than a standard foundation that is 30mL, but with that being said a little goes a long way. I would say that you would use a 30mL foundation quicker than this one.
This would have to be the most full coverage foundation I have tried. A dab or two of the product gives amazing coverage but doesn’t feel heavy! It is incredibly long lasting and it still looks perfect before taking it off. The first time I tried it, I did get a little oily in my T-zone after about 8 hours. Since this, I have used it with the Skindinavia Oil Control Primer Spray and Setting Sprays and have had no issue at all.
I love this foundation! It’s lightweight and gives your skin a perfected look. If you are looking for a natural foundation, this probably isn’t for you, as it makes your skin look way too perfected and flawless to be natural!
