If you love makeup just as much as I do, you would know that Anastasia Beverly Hills is one of the best brands that is always on trend with their products! They have the best highlighter palettes that I have tried! Anastasia Beverly Hills has teamed up with Nicole Guerreiro, an amazing youtuber, to bring us another amazing highlighter palette, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Nicole Guerreiro Glow Kit. I was super excited for this collaboration as Nicole is known for her love for the ‘glow’ and I knew she wouldn’t disappoint. The palette is limited edition and if you want to know my thoughts on the palette, let’s get into this review!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Nicole Guerreiro Glow Kit Review
The packaging of this palette is similar in design to their other glow kits. The palette is a light pink/peach shade and comes with a matching outer sleeve. on the back of the packaging is all of the ingredients etc. The palette itself is made out of a thick cardboard and has a magnetic closure. It is a 6 pan palette similar in size to the Ultimate Glow Kit, however, this one does not have a mirror. A mirror is not always a dealbreaker for me, but it is always a nice touch depending on the price point. This palette is still perfect for travel and I would most likely be travelling with another palette, such as eyeshadow palette for example, that does have a mirror.
This limited edition palette is sold exclusively on the Anastasia Beverly Hills website for $40USD. International shipping is generally $17.95USD, but you may encounter customs charges depending on your country.
In terms of value, you receive 6 shades which are 4.5 grams each. In comparison to the 4 pan glow kits which are $45, you get 7.4 grams of product of each shade. So even though there are 6 shades in this palette, you aren’t necessarily getting more product than the regular glow kits. I personally prefer greater shade variety, as highlighter is used somewhat sparingly, and theoretically, you aren’t going to hit pan as quickly.
The formula of these highlighters is described by ABH as a buildable metallic luster formula. Even though they are technically dry powders, they almost have a soft creamy/velvet-like feel to them. They are really smooth and finely milled highlighters. They do have a little bit of glitter/shimmer in them, so depending on how much you apply, it may exaggerate your skin texture a little bit.
In terms of pigmentation, these highlighters are intensely pigmented in one swipe. You can build up the coverage and therefore the pigmentation. The use of a setting spray, such as the Mac Fix Plus spray, can further intensify the highlight if that is what you are going for! In my opinion though, they don’t need it, they are intense on their own!
I did find that the shade Forever Lit was a little drier and less smooth than the rest of the shades, but the quality is still good.
They apply really smoothly to the skin and blend really nicely.
I found that the results will depend on the type of brush you use.
If you are wanting a more subtle look, you can definitely use a fan brush like the Sigma F42 Fan Brush. I found this to diffuse the product and blend it nicely.
My personal favourite highlighter brush is the F03 High Cheekbone Highlighter Brush. It is great for applying and blending highlight. It also lets you pick up more product than a fan brush. I feel like I have more control with this sort of brush.
As previously mentioned, a quick spritz of the Mac Fix Plus Spray or any other setting spray on your brush before dipping into the pan can further intensify your highlight! You can always then use a damp beauty blender to tone it down if you go over the top.
Kitty Kat – Pink with a platinum reflect
Forever Young – Pink pearl with a silver reflect
Daydream – Coral with a white gold reflect
Forever Lit – Platinum with a lavender reflect
Glo Getter – Champagne with a rose reflect
143 – Rose gold with a bronze reflect
Who are these for?
I feel that the majority of these shades will suit a great range of skin tones. I think all of these shades are adaptable for your skin tone as you can easily mix them. For example, if 143 is too bronze for your skin tone, you can easily mix in a little Forever Lit or Forever Young to customise the highlight! They can also be used as blush toppers and eyeshadows!
For really fair/pale skin tones, Forever Lit and Forever Young will be perfect as highlighters. Kitty Kat and Daydream will make great blush toppers and along with Glo Getter and 143, can also be used as eyeshadows.
For fair skin tones, you will easily be able to use Forever Lit, Kitty Kat, Forever Young and Glo Getter.
For medium to tan skin tones, the majority of these shades will be great. If you are on the tanner side, you may find Forever Lit a little light, but you can easily mix it with another shade.
Deeper skin tones will look absolutely stunning with 143 and Glo Getter. You may find Forever Lit a little too light on its own but again you can customise for your own skin tone.
I am so happy with the quality, formula and overall design of this palette. I am so glad that I added it to my collection, as ever since I purchased it, I have been reaching for it non-stop! This is limited edition, so I definitely wouldn’t wait much longer to purchase it if you are still thinking about it. There is nothing worse than finally deciding to get a product and then find it sold out! I deeply regret not purchasing the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sweets Glow Kit, so please learn from my mistake of waiting too long!

Here are swatches of these highlighters on my arm without the use of a primer. Please keep in mind that the shades may vary with skin tones.
